Had so many amazing encounters yesterday on the mall. The team of three went out to share the love of God and pray for people. One gentleman we saw holding a sign. We engaged him in conversation and he said that his wife just left him, they were doing a lot of Xanax, and he showed me all the blisters on his feet from walking around looking for her. During prayer (he bent over in a very humble position) the presence of God was strong and afterwards I had notice that his countenance had change. Another gentleman was walking around without a shirt with a friend. We approached him and I told him that his left shoulder was in pain….. He mentioned that he had previously broke it (he’s some kind of MMA fighter) so after a few prayers in the name of Jesus…. He was completely out of pain! I had even more room to speak into his life which was amazing! They were shocked and tasted the goodness of God that day. Another gentleman was walking with a friend. They were flying gay pride colors (it was gay pride day in Denver) and the Lord showed me the issues in his neck (it’s the goodness of God that leads all to repentance), so I told him what I felt and he mentioned that he was a mechanic and does have issues…. I went on to say that he even had pain down to his ankle and he said yes. So we prayed and he felt better and we had a cool encounter. These were just a few highlights of the day, we actually prayed and encounter so many people. Praise Jesus!!
Quite a day this one was for The Kingdom! It started in the morning at a Christian gathering (kinda like a Bible study but not really), there was a man named Jim there who lost his wife to cancer, and his daughter had a peanut allergy. During the time others where speaking truth to him, The Father showed me what’s going on in his body. After I told him the 3 words of knowledges…. He let us pray for him. After Jim, I walked over to my friend Anthony and touched his chest……He started laughing and so did I. Later Anthony told me that The Lord met and spoke to him what he exactly what he needed to hear. Took opportunity to minister a little more and basically left. Never found out what happened to Jim overall but excited to hear in the coming days ahead.
So…… That evening I was invited to a small group to share passion for ministry, some street testimonies, and ended up ministering to the group. Felt like the Lord said “the physical insight that I showed you this morning in Jim is what members of this small group is dealing with also…..” So I told the group what The Lord said and asked if any had shoulder problems, two raised their hands. Asked about lower backs and two raised their hands. Asked about knee and one raised his hand. PRAISE JESUS!! So we all prayed together and one shoulder got 95% better and one back a lot looser and the rest got completely healed!! Jesus is amazing! Praise, honor, and glory to you God!
A few weeks ago I was listening to the end of a conference through Bethel. It was the time for ministry and the presence of God was manifested pretty strong. I got completely blessed in those few minutes but then a friend (at the house) stood by me. He has had chronic middle back issues to where he takes mild mediation to help with the pain. I placed my had on his back and we watched more of the conference. After a few minutes, I grabbed a chair and we sat down to minister. I prayed some more and spoke into his life. Fast forward 4 weeks to last night during our “check-in” time, he admitted to me that his back hasn’t hurt since that month previous. God is so good!
Sitting at a table eating food with some homeless men (after the church service). Prayed for a man (57) who talked about his mother who was 102 years old. He recounted a story of how she has a peach tree in the front yard and talked about all the peach cobbler that she would make. It was famous around the neighborhood. He was talking about being older and how he couldn’t do the temporary physical daily labor. So I asked him if he was in pain and he would talk about his right wrist, the arthritis in it and how it was really stiff. After two prayers his wrist was really loose and after asking him for a third…. he threw the wrist into my hand. So I said one final prayer ….. and he was completely set free. Praise God! #releasingheaven
Being treated to dinner by a coworker, my peers in the ministry and I got in a discussion about healing. Quite an interesting topic when Pastors talk about healing. There is so much known about God’s will but also much unknown about the subject about healing…. So you could imagine all the in’s and out’s about our discussion. I just kept speaking about the goodness of God’s character and nature. There was many things said, but I made a statement saying “when a person has a visible injury …. That is a green light for prayer’. So (of course) our waiter had twisted his wrist really badly and it was bandage up. So I volunteered to pray for the man. I asked him for more bread to set the stage for him having to come back to the table 🙂 …. But I went to the bathroom. When I came back the bread was on the table and they all looked at me like the chance was missed. I called him back over and started ministering. He said the pain went from 8 to a 5 to feeling “really good”. I knew he was set free cause I could sense power entering in him, so I was going to have him check out his wrist more but We were at his place of work and didn’t embarrass him. God is soooooo willing to display his goodness everywhere we go! Take a risk and contend for healing. Don’t pay attention to reactions, pay attention to the compassion of God for people. Praise God!!
I was engage with conversation with this sweet man for an hour at a potluck this evening. As he was leaving I gave him a big bear hug and he winced in pain because of a bruise rib. (Bruise rib maybe not seem like a big deal, but EVERYTHING is a big deal when it comes to God’s children). So after one prayer, the pain focused in one small spot and after the second it was completely gone (Praise God!). I kept hearing The Spirit say how much pleasure He had in this man. That God delights in him and wraps His pleasure around him like a cloak.
I was invited to speak with a small group from (JFC) about having them join our church in street ministry. I had a great time sharing my heart and ended praying for a couple men. I met Jason before the meeting began and he hurt his spine in some kind of work injury. It was damage pretty bad and he was hurled over in great pain. I asked if I could pray….. And immediately his back was better to where he could stand straight. I asked if he was 100%? And when he was still checking out his back…. I laid hands on him and prayed again. The back was pain free but it was still quite tight. So we had our meeting and at the end, we all prayed together and Jason walked away 100% restored. Another man (David) was sharing apart of his testimony during the meeting and shared his pain from losing a father. After the meeting I pulled him to the side and spoke into his life what God had for him. I asked him if he felt the peace of the Father and he said, God’s peace entered through his toes and filled his whole body.
